Portfolio Management

A managed portfolio built around your goals, not a one-size-fits-all model.

How I Approach Portfolio Management

Every portfolio I manage starts with a conversation, not a template. Before any capital moves, I want to understand what you are actually trying to achieve, your time horizon, and how much volatility you can genuinely tolerate, not just what you think you should tolerate on paper. Those answers shape the structure of the portfolio far more than any single market view does.

Built to Adjust, Not Just Built to Hold

Markets shift, and a portfolio that made sense a year ago may not make sense today. I review positioning on an ongoing basis and adjust as conditions change, rather than setting an allocation once and leaving it untouched regardless of what happens around it. That does not mean constant trading. It means the portfolio stays aligned with both the market and your goals as both evolve.

What This Looks Like in Practice

In practice, portfolio management with me includes regular communication about what is in the portfolio and why, clear reasoning behind any changes, and honesty about risk at every stage, including when the honest answer is that caution is the better move. I would rather tell a client to wait than push activity that does not serve them.
